We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our Antibody Discovery Group. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the discovery of novel antibodies for therapeutic development. This is a laboratory-based role that utilizes various techniques, including BCR amplification, sequence analysis, and recombinant antibody expression. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment focused on the development of novel therapeutic antibodies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Amplify BCR sequences from sorted B-cells.
  • Select antibody candidates through BCR sequence analysis.
  • Design, clone, and express recombinant monoclonal antibodies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to lab organization.

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in recombinant antibody expression.
  • Strong molecular biology background and experience.
  • Knowledge of antibody structure, humanization, production, and purification is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in NGS library preparation and BCR repertoire analysis is a plus.
  • Experience in antibody discovery and development is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

  • Highly proficient in molecular biology techniques, including PCR (general, nested, etc.), cloning, plasmid DNA isolation, RNA isolation, and sequencing.
  • Experience in eukaryotic cell transfection and culture.
  • Hands-on experience in humanization of antibodies using various methods.
  • Familiarity with sequence data analysis software and statistical tools (Geneious, Discovery Studio).

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.
While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise align strongly with the requirements of the role.
