SystImmune Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Redmond, WA, dedicated to developing groundbreaking cancer therapies through its innovative platforms for bi-specific/multi-specific antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Director of Engineering & Facilities Management to oversee the overall planning, operation, maintenance of our facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting our growing operations.

Key Responsibilities
 
Facility Management & Maintenance
  • Oversee all planning, operations, and maintenance for company facilities
  • Manage preventative maintenance programs for critical lab equipment (e.g., HVAC, biosafety cabinets, automation systems) and office infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and upgrades.
Compliance & Safety
  • Work with cross function to ensure full regulatory compliance with GMP/GLP, OSHA, EPA, and other applicable standards.
  • Lead relevant safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits for labs and offices.
  • Maintain all facility related permits and compliance documentation for regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, IBC, local city and states).
Space Planning & Optimization
  • Plan and execute expansions or renovation projects to support company growth.
  • Partner with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure renovations meet scientific, operational, and compliance needs
  • Optimize facility utilization for evolving company needs.
Budget & Sustainability
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget
  • Implement cost-control measures and sustainable practices
Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of facility management experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, or a high-compliance lab environment.
  • Proven experience managing new lab design, renovations, contractor work, and space build-outs.
  • GxP facility experience is required
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of lab safety standards 
  • Ability to read floor plans, manage budgets, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or/and CCM Certification is a plus
