Senior Research Associate, Immuno-Oncology
SystImmune, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate to join our Bioassay Team within the Immuno-Oncology department. This role will focus on supporting high-throughput bioassay development and assay execution to drive data-driven decision-making for drug candidate selection and IND-enabling studies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in GLP laboratory environments, assay development and validation, and reagent batch qualification; being capable, upon training, of working with limited supervision in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based and immunoassays to support drug development programs.
- Conduct high-throughput assays using Incucyte imaging, flow cytometry, and ELISA-based platforms.
- Perform cell culture experiments with cancer and immune cells under stringent quality control guidelines.
- Maintaining detailed and organized documentation consistent with company standards.
- Conduct reagent batch qualification to ensure assay consistency and reliability.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to internal teams.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on expertise in assay development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with flow cytometry, Incucyte imaging, ELISA, MSD, and other immunoassay platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cell culture techniques with both adherent and suspension cells.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in data management and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a matrixed team environment.
The hiring pay range for this position is $75,000 - $110,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role.
