SystImmune Inc. is seeking a motivated Research Associate I/II to join the Bioassay team within the Immuno-Oncology department. This role will support execution of cell-based and immunoassays to enable discovery and development of novel cancer therapeutics. The ideal candidate will be a strong experimentalist with experience in cell culture and bioassay execution who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on assay execution, data generation, and maintaining high quality experimental standards while developing technical depth in immuno-oncology drug development.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.
While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based and immunoassays to support drug development programs.
- Conduct high-throughput assays using Incucyte imaging, flow cytometry, and ELISA-based platforms.
- Perform cell culture experiments with cancer and immune cells under stringent quality control guidelines.
- Maintaining detailed and organized documentation consistent with company standards.
- Conduct reagent batch qualification to ensure assay consistency and reliability.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to internal teams.
Qualifications:
Research Associate I:
- BS or MS in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
- Minimum 1+ year of industry laboratory experience (internships may be considered if highly relevant)
- Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques
- Exposure to basic immunoassays such as ELISA or flow cytometry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- BS or MS in a relevant scientific discipline
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience executing cell-based assays with some troubleshooting experience
- Working knowledge of flow cytometry and immunoassay techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work with moderate independence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting oncology, immunology, or biologics discovery programs
- Experience with Incucyte, flow cytometry, MSD, or multiplex assay platforms
- Exposure to GLP or regulated laboratory environments
- Experience working in high-throughput research environments
- Strong data analysis and scientific communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple experiments simultaneously
