As an Oncology Strategy Lead supporting oncology clinical development, you will serve as the scientific and strategic right-hand to the clinical development leader.  Your mission is to support critical elements of oncology clinical development programs in project management, competitive intelligence, and data insights generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Surveillance: Monitor and analyze clinical trial readouts, regulatory filings (FDA/EMA), and patent landscapes for key competitors in the relevant space.
  • Strategic Benchmarking: Compare internal clinical protocols against competitor trials to identify "Best-in-Class" opportunities. Advise teams on endpoint selection (e.g., mPFS vs. ORR) and patient stratification strategies.
  • Medical Congress Leadership: Lead the intelligence gathering at major conferences (ASCO, ESMO, WCLC and ASH). Coordinate onsite intelligence gathering and rapidly synthesize findings for executive leadership.
  • Target Product Profile (TPP) Development: Collaborate with Commercial and R&D teams to define the TPP of our pipeline assets to ensure they are competitive at the time of launch.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide rapid response "Deep Dives" on evolving competitive landscape and key data readout.
  • Project Management: support the Clinical Development Leader in cross-functional meetings, track trial progress timeline, and flag risk areas and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Education: PhD in Life Sciences (Oncology, Immunology, or Molecular Biology preferred).
  • Experience:  minimum 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare consulting, or equity research.
  • Scientific Fluency: Ability to critically evaluate preclinical and clinical data
  • Communication: Proven ability to synthesize key data and communicate effectively through PowerPoint presentation. Mandarin speaking is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work across multiple time zones.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills. While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise exceeds the requirements of the role.
